Ekta Wadhwa is the Founder and Director of Amazing Hope Foundation, a passionate community leader, mental health advocate, and social entrepreneur committed to empowering women, youth, and families across Canada.
With an extensive background in media, communications, community engagement, and social services, Ekta has dedicated her career to creating safe spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and rebuild their lives. Through Amazing Hope Foundation, she leads programs focused on mental health awareness, domestic violence prevention, youth empowerment, newcomer support, and community wellness.
Under her leadership, the Foundation has launched impactful initiatives including annual hygiene product drives for women living in shelters, mental health education programs, wellness retreats, fundraising events, and outreach campaigns that provide practical support while breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and abuse.
Ekta is also the host of Cross Talk with Ekta Wadhwa, a platform that brings together experts, professionals, and inspiring changemakers to foster meaningful conversations on mental health, relationships, personal growth, and social issues.
Her vision is simple yet powerful—to build stronger, healthier, and more compassionate communities by ensuring that every individual has access to support, hope, and opportunities to thrive. Guided by empathy, collaboration, and service, Ekta continues to inspire positive change through advocacy, education, and community action.

Deborah is a Canadian social worker with experience in the cancer society and Alzheimer’s society; Her background is in the manufacturing industry, owning and operating a beauty supply store and is a successful community intervention specialist. She was born in Guyana, South America and immigrated to Canada in 1975 where she now calls Brampton home. She earned her degree in business management attending school in Windsor and London, Ontario. A lifelong athlete, she has coached track & field, soccer and volleyball. Deborah has been volunteering for over 40 years and a core belief that continues to drive her daily is there is goodness in this world if we can sit at the table and have a discussion with one another and find common ground, no matter where you come from. Deborah has two adult children and four grandchildren. When she’s not volunteering, she loves to travel, try new food, go hiking and spend time with her family and friends.

Shubham Vig is a young and dynamic Aerospace Engineer whose passion for creating a positive impact extends beyond the world of science and technology. Alongside her professional achievements, she is deeply committed to community service and actively contributes her time and energy toward supporting initiatives that uplift and empower others.
A strong advocate for gender equality and inclusive opportunities, Shubham represents the values of innovation, compassion, and social responsibility. Her journey reflects the belief that technical expertise and a commitment to community can come together to inspire meaningful change. Through her dedication and service, she continues to encourage others to pursue excellence while making a difference in society.

Dianne Burge is a dedicated community leader with more than 30 years of experience serving individuals and families through volunteerism, community outreach, and social support initiatives. Her passion for helping others, combined with her strong organizational and leadership skills, has enabled her to successfully coordinate projects that create meaningful and lasting change.
As Project Implementation Manager at Amazing Hope Foundation, Dianne oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of community programs and special initiatives. She works closely with volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while reflecting the Foundation's mission of empowering vulnerable individuals and strengthening communities.
Known for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to service, Dianne believes that collaboration, kindness, and community engagement are the foundation of lasting social impact. She is passionate about creating opportunities that promote dignity, hope, and well-being for those facing life's challenges, and she continues to inspire others through her dedication to making a positive difference.

Savita Rathore is a dedicated member of the Amazing Hope Foundation team, serving as our Yoga and Wellness Facilitator. With over 1,000 hours of teaching experience and a prestigious 500-hour yoga certification from a leading institute in Texas, Savita brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role.
She is also a certified breathwork and meditation practitioner through Priority Academy in the UK. Savita’s deep study of the Chakras—the body’s energy centers—enables her to guide individuals on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and emotional balance.
Savita plays a vital role in our mental health and well-being initiatives, conducting yoga and mindfulness sessions that empower individuals affected by stress, trauma, and emotional challenges. Her gentle presence, inclusive approach, and belief that “yoga is for every living soul” resonate deeply with our values.
Through her work at the Amazing Hope Foundation, Savita continues to uplift communities, offering both in-person and online wellness programs that foster resilience, inner peace, and holistic health.

Yashaswi Vig is a passionate youth mentor, advocate, and emerging leader dedicated to empowering young people through mentorship, education, and inclusive leadership. With a background in Finance and Law, she combines analytical expertise with a deep commitment to creating opportunities that help youth thrive personally and professionally.
As one of the youngest professionals to serve as both a mentor and panellist with 100 Women in Finance, Yashaswi is committed to guiding young people as they navigate education, career development, and personal growth. She is particularly passionate about supporting young women and underrepresented youth, helping them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and pursue their aspirations without limitations.
In her role as Youth Empowerment Lead at Amazing Hope Foundation, Yashaswi leads youth-focused initiatives that encourage leadership, mental wellness, community engagement, and career readiness. She works to create safe, inclusive spaces where every young person feels heard, valued, and empowered to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Yashaswi believes that investing in young people today creates stronger, more compassionate communities tomorrow. Through mentorship, advocacy, and collaborative programming, she continues to inspire the next generation to lead with confidence, resilience, and purpose.

Shelja Garg, CPA is a Business Operations Manager, Life Coach and Mental Health Advocate.
After facing mental health issues including depression, anxiety and workplace burnout while working in a high stress public accounting firm for 6 years, she quit her job to go on a healing journey which lead to life-changing personal transformation and growth.
Shelja now teaches people how to take care of their mental health, practice empathy and positivity to transform their ego-based mindset and make intuitive decisions to help them thrive in their own career and life.

Kuheli Chatterjee is a dynamic professional with years of experience in IT project management, corporate social responsibility, and educational program development. With a sound foundation in cybersecurity and business strategy, Kuheli has led cross-functional initiatives for major organizations in India, the UK, and Canada. She blends technical acumen with a deep passion for social impact researches. Her work consistently reflects a commitment to inclusive growth, innovation, and meaningful community engagement.

King Selah is an internationally respected reggae artist, songwriter, and frontman of Canada's renowned House of David Gang, one of the country's longest-running roots reggae bands. With a career spanning decades, he has performed at festivals and community events across Canada, using music as a powerful platform to inspire hope, unity, and positive social change.
As Music Ambassador and Community Partner with Amazing Hope Foundation, King Selah brings his passion for community engagement and cultural connection to the Foundation's events and outreach initiatives. Through live performances, mentorship, and advocacy, he supports programs that promote mental wellness, youth empowerment, diversity, and inclusion.
King Selah believes music has the unique ability to heal, connect, and inspire people from all walks of life. His commitment to uplifting communities through authentic reggae music and meaningful social impact aligns closely with Amazing Hope Foundation's mission of creating hope, resilience, and stronger communities for everyone.

Amarjeet Singh, with an academic background in MSc and MCA, is a passionate and kind-hearted individual who loves helping others find the information they need to grow, learn, and make empowered decisions. He finds joy in meaningful conversations, constantly learning, and sharing helpful knowledge that can make a difference in someone’s life. Volunteering comes naturally to him, and he thrives on building connections and uplifting communities. Always ready to take on new challenges, Amarjeet is deeply motivated by his desire to create a positive impact through compassion, knowledge, and genuine human connection.

Ami Sharma (aka Amisha) is a multifaceted talent, blending the worlds of music and social work with passion and purpose. As a singer, she captivates audiences with her soulful voice and crafting melodies that resonate with authenticity and emotion.
Offstage, Amisha channels her energy into making a positive impact in the community as a dedicated social worker. With a commitment to social justice and empowerment, she tirelessly advocates for marginalized populations, working to uplift and support individuals facing adversity.
Combining her artistic prowess with her compassionate spirit, AmiSha strives to create harmony both in music and in the world, inspiring others to join her in the pursuit of social change and collective well-being.
